HORSEMANSHIP LESSONS

with Dry River Ranch

Horsemanship Lessons at Dry River Ranch include everything from the ground up! We encourage students to work toward being able to safely and responsibly participate in horse activities throughout their lives. In order to do that they must learn how to handle, care, manage, and ride their equine partners. We tackle this with a level based curriculum strongly influenced by HorseSense Learning Levels. As students progress through the levels they are awarded for their accomplishments and offered more opportunities in the program!

Many students join our program at different stages of their equine journeys and may not fit directly into any one level. Lessons are catered to each student's ability while the levels are used to make sure that there are no holes in their equine education. Students will participate in many unmounted and mounted lessons in order to accomplish each level as riding is only one small portion of overall horsemanship!
