HORSEMANSHIP LESSONS
Horsemanship Lessons at Dry River Ranch include everything from the ground up! We encourage students to work toward being able to safely and responsibly participate in horse activities throughout their lives. In order to do that they must learn how to handle, care, manage, and ride their equine partners. We tackle this with a level based curriculum. As students progress through the levels they are awarded for their accomplishments and offered more opportunities in the program!

We are an outdoor program which operates year round, however, lesson times must change with the temperatures and sunsets of each season. Please reach out to learn more or to sign up when it suits your schedule!

Get the most out of the Program
Students are able to get the most out of this program when attending weekly lessons as they are more actively practicing and remembering the things they are working on. Once they are able to groom and tack up both safely and independently they are allowed to arrive early to do so which allows us to maximize the lesson time on new materials. It is recommended to attend weekly, even if it is only for a season or two each year. This allows the student to focus on these skills and activities during that time.
